This week, my friends and I completed the flow from listing to delivery. However, this week was for checking the application on the actual device. The execution and installation of the application on the real device (used Galaxy Z Flip 5) was smooth and trouble-free

Work done 
Execution, Installation and testing of the application on the actual device without any trouble. The location was working perfectly, showing my location precisely. I have done listing to payment delivery correspondingly, which was working perfectly fine.


Current status and plans
There was an issue with UI, which I have noticed and am planning to fix in the upcoming days. When I type in the password field, it doesn’t display the masked characters (like ), and instead shows blank white space. The input still works correctly, but the masking is not visible in the simulator.” A similar issue occurs on the Create Listing page. When the keyboard appears, the input text fields get hidden behind it. I’ve also noticed a few other minor UI issues in that section. One of the main issues that I am facing with a real device is the chat filter. Although from the server side, moderation.js(which helps us to filter the chat) is still running.

 Week-5 Report  June 28, 2025 My focus this week was on broadening our project by suggesting an idea that lends itself to our aim of tackling the problems of food waste and food accessibility - a Community Fridge Locator and Booking System. The idea was spurred by Starr's own research into local food-sharing projects, where community fridges are emerging as an increasingly popular grassroots solution. By adding a map-based fridge locator to our system, users will be able to see where there are community fridges near them, what is available or needed at which fridges, and they can even claim space to drop off their food. This sort of system can be very helpful for smaller food businesses or supermarkets, or anyone wishing to give away perishables in a speedy, organised fashion.
