MOCKUPS 

These are some of the most crucial screens of our project.

    Add Listings Screen

    An easy-to-use form created to gather the necessary information needed to list food items on the site. The following fields are present on the form:

    • Title: The food item's short name or heading.
    • Description: A brief description of the food item.
    • Category: Food Type(e.g., baked goods, prepared foods, drinks, etc.).
    • Quantity: The number of available portions or things.
    • Price: The food item's cost (optional, discounted, or free).
    • Timing/Expiration: To guarantee food safety, use the best-before or expiration date.
    • Location: The general area or suburb for visibility.
    • The precise place where the food can be picked up is known as the "pickup address."
    • Any special instructions, such as "keep refrigerated," should be noted.
    • Information on Allergens: Specifics regarding possible allergens, such as dairy and nuts.
    • Photo Upload: This feature enables the user to attach a picture of the food item.



    Browse Available Food Screen

    Users can look through a list of excess food items that are currently available for claim on this screen.

    • Location-Based Filtering: Food items are displayed based on the user’s current or selected location to prioritize nearby listings for quicker access.
    • Search by Item Name – Locate specific food items quickly.
    • Category Filter – Filter results by food type (e.g., fruits, bakery, meals, beverages).
    • Budget Range – Set a minimum and maximum price range 
    • Food Card View: Each food item is presented with essential details such as title, image, quantity, expiry time, price, and pickup location.
    • Claim Food Button: A clearly visible "Claim Food" button is available for each item. When clicked, the user initiates the claim process and notifies the food donor.


    Admin Dashboard Food Screen

    Individuals or business users can maintain their listings and track platform activity with ease thanks to the Admin Dashboard's user-friendly design. Important features include of:

    • Total Revenue Overview
    • Active Listings
    • Add New Food Item
    • Pending Claims
    • Total Listings Summary


      Category Drop Down

      By enabling users to easily filter available food products based on established categories, the Category Dropdown improves user ease.
